David Fong, CPA, CA

Principal

David Fong, CPA, CA is Founding Principal of LFG Partners, leading the firm's accounting advisory, personal and corporate tax engagements while overseeing the SR&ED and Business Incentives division.  Specializing in tax planning, public company reporting and valuation, David has held CFO and advisory positions in a wide range of high-growth technology companies.

Prior to founding LFG in 2012, David was a professional accountant at BDO Canada. During his tenure there, he gained valuable experience leading teams for audits under IFRS, Canadian and US GAAP for public multi-national clients in a variety of industries including mining, oil & gas, technology, manufacturing and real-estate. Dave currently holds ownership and advisory positions in several high-growth companies in music technology, pharmaceuticals, outsourced services, and payment processing.
 

David is a CPA, Chartered Accountant and holds an Honours Degree in Finance and Accounting from the University of British Columbia. His interests are skiing and snowboarding, playing basketball, and photography.
